Coleman share available in Inglis April (Early) Online Sale

A ten per cent share in last year’s Golden Slipper (Gr 1, 1200m) runner-up Coleman (Pierata) highlights a diverse catalogue for the Inglis Digital April (Early) Online Sale, with the final countdown of bidding beginning from 10am on Wednesday.
A son of Pierata (Pierro), the dual stakes winner was the first colt home in the Golden Slipper won by Lady Of Camelot (Written Tycoon) last March, defeating the likes of Storm Boy (Justify), Traffic Warden (Street Boss) and Switzerland (Snitzel).
He was the highest rated two-year-old of his generation before returning as a three-year-old in the spring, with a second place in the Roman Consul Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m) behind Switzerland, the highlight of five runs.
Now in the care of Chris Waller, Coleman is being trained with the Doomben 10,000 (Gr 1, 1200m) and the Stradbroke Handicap (Gr 1, 1400m) at the Brisbane Winter Carnival in mind.
Also on offer is Bout (Artie Schiller), a winning sister to Group 1-winning Champion Three-Year-Old and Group 1-producing sire Flying Artie, who is being offered in foal to exciting first season sire and Golden Slipper winner Shinzo (Snitzel).
Meanwhile, another feature of the catalogue is a stallion share in Newgate Farm’s Russian Revolution (Snitzel), who was crowned Champion First and Second Season Sire and boasts 214 winners, 12 of them at stakes level.
More highlights include stakes-winning juvenile Aardvark (Capitalist), and other in-foal mares including Group 2 winner Serena Miss (Iffraaj), Group 3 winners Ol’ Fashion Gal (Sky Mesa) and Take The Sit (Tough Speed), and Arson Annie (Nothing to Lose) – a half-sister to Group 1 winner Rothfire (Rothesay).
In total the April (Early) catalogue consists of 396 entries – 164 racehorses (80 race fillies), 121 broodmares, 51 yearlings, 33 racehorse shares, 24 weanlings and two stallion shares.
