Eight per cent share in Mr Brightside up for sale
An eight per cent share in six-time Group 1 winner Mr Brightside (Bullbars) features among the lots catalogued for the Inglis Digital July (Late) Online Sale, which is now open for bidding.
Trained by Lindsay Park, the rising seven-year-old has won 16 of his 34 starts, accruing $13,477,565 in career prize-money in the process.
The gelding will be out to add more silverware to his cabinet this spring and is mooted to defend his crown in both the Memsie Stakes (Gr 1, 1400m) and Makybe Diva Stakes (Gr 1, 1600m), while the King Charles III (Gr 1, 1600m), Cox Plate (Gr 1, 2040m) and Champions Mile (Gr 1, 1600m) are also likely targets.
The Mr Brightside offering is one of 388 lots in the catalogue which includes 191 racehorses, including 89 race fillies, 102 broodmares, 40 racehorse shares, 36 weanlings, 18 yearlings and one stallion.
Tahnee Tiara (Commands), dam of this season’s Queensland Oaks (Gr 1, 2200m) winner Socks Nation (Sioux Nation), is another standout entry in the catalogue
A half–sister to the stakes-winning Group 1-placed sprinter Evalina (I Am Invincible), Tahnee Tiara is being offered in foal to North Pacific (Brazen Beau).
There is also a nine-strong Godolphin draft of fillies and mares in the July (Late) catalogue as well as the Group-placed Hinchinbrook (Fastnet Rock) mare Anagain, who was a Rosehill winner three weeks ago.
Stakes-placed juvenile Miss Antaeus (I Am Invincible) is also up for sale and she is being offered in foal to Darley stallion Too Darn Hot (Dubawi), who will not shuttle to the Hunter Valley in 2024.
