Extreme Choice cover among October Sale headliners
Group 3-placed mare Ariaz (Charge Forward), who is in foal to Newgate Farm’s Extreme Choice (Not A Single Doubt), is the headline act of the Inglis Digital October (Late) Sale, which is now opening for bidding.
Ariaz is out of five-time winner Zaira (Fastnet Rock), herself a daughter of dual Group 3 winner Shelbourne Lass (Brocco), who is also the dam of fellow Group 3 scorer Elusive Touch (Elusive Quality).
The mare features among the 254 entries for the sale, which also includes How Rude (Snitzel) and Cross Your Heart (Deep Field), who are both lightly raced and being offered as racing and breeding prospects.
Bred and offered by Go Bloodstock, How Rude is out of the Group 1-winning mare Ruud Awakening (Bernardini), making her a half sister to the Group 3-winning juvenile Rise Of The Masses (Russian Revolution) as well as the stakes-placed winner Kundalini (I Am Invincible). How Rude was last seen breaking her maiden on the second attempt when she won over 1280 metres at Muswellbrook on October 7.
Meanwhile, Cross Your Heart is a three-quarter sister to Hong Kong Group 1 winner Voyage Bubble (Deep Field). A $280,000 yearling herself, Cross Your Heart is a two-time winner from seven starts and has competed at metropolitan level at her past two starts.
Also catalogued, are also two shares in Proven Thoroughbreds’s unraced three-year-old King’s Secret (Shalaa), a half-brother to Group 1 winner and dual Everest (1200m) placegetter Private Eye (Al Maher), who will again line up in the $20 million showcase at Randwick on Saturday.
The catalogue consists of 150 racehorses (68 race fillies) including two two-year-olds, 26 broodmares, 59 racehorse shares, 15 yearlings, one stallion, and one unbroken stock.
The final countdown of bidding for the Inglis Digital October (Late) Sale begins from 10am on October 23. Click here to view the catalogue.
