Miss Fabulass (AUS) 3 f Frankel – Samantha Miss by Redoute’s Choice
Wednesday’s race looked like boasting strong form despite comprising only three runners. The impeccably bred Miss Fabulass, who was resuming after her promising second on debut at Rosehill in February, showed good early pace and soon went to the front. She then travelled strongly, was pressured nearing the home turn, got a break at the 200 metres and went on to score impressively. She looks a quality filly with a bright future.
By Banstead Manor Stud’s dual world champion Frankel, the filly is a daughter of the three-time Group 1 winner Samantha Miss, 2009’s champion filly in Australia. With Frankel himself being out of the Danehill mare Kind, Miss Fabulass boasts 3×3 inbreeding to the influential sire and is one of four foals by her dam to race, all of whom have won.Samantha Miss also has an unraced two-year-old Medaglia D’Oro colt named Geo and another yearling colt by the same stallion on the ground. She slipped to Sebring in 2018.
