Share in Melbourne Cup-bound Future History on Inglis Online

The Inglis October (Late) Online Sale will present buyers with a unique opportunity as they are given the chance to buy a ten per cent share of Melbourne Cup (Gr 1, 3200m) hopeful, Future History (Showcasing).

Trained by Ciaron Maher and David Eustace, the five-year-old gelding gained a ballot exemption for the $8 million 3200-metre contest by winning the Bart Cummings (Gr 3, 2510m) at Flemington on October 7 and is currently rated a $26 chance for the Flemington showpiece on November 7, where he is set to carry 50 kilograms.

Superium (Verrazano) is another entry that will provide his new connections an automatic entry into one of the biggest races of the Sydney Spring Carnival.

Currently trained by Team Hawkes, Superium qualified for the $3 million The Big Dance (1600m) at Randwick on November 7 through a comfortable victory in the Taree Cup (2000m) at his most recent start a fortnight ago.

Another quality offering is the Anthony Cummings-trained Kote (Choisir).

Kote has untapped potential and has been a regular in black-type races during both the autumn and spring carnivals.

Two starts ago he finished within four and a half lengths of the best sprinter in the country, The Everest (1200m) winner Think About It (So You Think).

In total the Inglis Digital October (Late) catalogue consists of 201 lots – 112 racehorses (46 race fillies), 38 broodmares, 28 racehorse shares, 18 yearlings, three unbroken stock and a pair of two-year-olds.
