U S Navy Flag’s fee unchanged
The Oaks Stud in Cambridge have announced their service fees for the forthcoming breeding season with the roster headed by leading second-season sire U S Navy Flag (War Front), who will stand for an unchanged fee of NZ$15,000 (all fees plus GST).
The stallion was represented by Auckland Guineas (Gr 2, 1600m) winner Pendragon, who also finished runner-up in the Karaka Million 3YO Classic (RL, 1600m). Other highlight progeny include multiple stakes winner Chantilly Lace, Edward Manifold Stakes (Gr 2, 1600m) runner-up Aprilia and multiple Group 1 performer To Catch A Thief.
The Symon Wilde-trained Navy King was a strong winner at Flemington last weekend, while impressive Ellerslie winner Fortunate Son was recently sold to Hong Kong.
Group 1 winner The Chosen One (Savabeel) will stand his third season at stud at a fee of NZ$4,000. Timeform rated 118, The Chosen One will be represented by two weanlings at the New Zealand Bloodstock Weanling Sale on June 20 at Karaka.
Venerable sire Roc De Cambes (Red Ransom), who sired recent Alister Clark Stakes (Gr 2, 2040m) winner Antrim Coast, completes the roster at NZ$3,000.
